At EtchedQR, our entire business model is built around respecting your privacy. Because we encode URLs directly into the QR codes you generate, we do not—and cannot—track who scans your codes or when they are scanned.

Information We Collect

1. Analytics: We use minimal, privacy-friendly analytics on our website to understand general traffic trends (e.g., how many people visit our site). We do not use intrusive tracking scripts or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. Contact Form: If you reach out to us via our contact form, we collect the name and email address you provide, solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. We do not add you to marketing lists or sell this information.

QR Code Generation

The URLs you enter into our generator are processed in your browser to create the QR code matrix. They are not stored in any permanent database on our servers. The resulting QR code image is generated and downloaded entirely on your device.

Third-Party Services

We use Resend to power our contact form and Vercel to host our application. These providers comply with modern privacy standards and only process data necessary for the functioning of those specific services.
